Совместное применение с НПВС может снижать антигипертензивный и мочегонный эффект диуретиков. Это может быть связано с изменением синтеза простагландинов, что приводит к задержке натрия и воды в организме. При применении комбинации следует контролировать состояние пациентов и при необходимости повышать дозу диуретиков. НПВС также обладают нефротоксическими свойствами, которые могут усиливаться при совместном применении с диуретиками. Добавление ингибиторов АПФ и антагонистов ангиотензиновых рецепторов к такой комбинации может еще больше увеличить вероятность повреждения почек.
